Attention Middle School Volleyball girls: Thursday August 11th is the last Flex Day before tryouts. Tryouts will be held 2 days in the high school gym, Tuesday August 16th and Thursday August 18th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. You must have a physical dated May 1st or later to participate. You must attend both days of tryouts to be considered for the team.
Braxton County Middle School will be having a Back to School Bash open house on Thursday, August 11th from 5 to 7 PM. Come in and meet the staff, tour the school and enjoy free food, games and school supplies. We will also doing new student registration.
There will be an information meeting for any BCMS 6th, 7th or 8th grade student interested in cheer on Friday, June 17th at 6 PM in the middle school cafeteria. Cheer will be have summer practices June 20th-23rd and June 27th from 6-7:30 PM at the middle school. A sports physical dated after May 1st is required to practice.
Braxton County Middle School football sign ups will be held on Friday, May 20th at 5:00 pm with Coach King in the middle school cafeteria. Any upcoming 6th, 7th or 8th grade student who would be interested in playing football for the middle school in the fall please make plans to attend. Again, BCMS football sign ups will be Friday, May 20th at 5 PM in the middle school cafeteria.

Braxton County Middle School will be administering end of the year testing on Monday, April 25th through Thursday, April 28th. Please make sure your student is in attendance and on time for school during testing dates. Students also need to have their fully charged computers and chargers at school during testing. Thank you for your assistance in making our testing days successful.
Braxton County Middle School will be having parent teacher conference this evening, April 21st, from 4 to 6 pm.
BCMS will be having Spirit Week April 26th-29th.
BCMS spring band concert will be held tonight, April 7, 2022 in the BCMS gymnasium. The concert begins at 6:30 pm. Admission is free. Please come out and enjoy an evening of musical entertainment and support our band.

Dear Parents and Community Members: To slow the transmission of COVID, Frametown Elementary will be on remote learning for the remainder of the week. The health and safety of our students and staff are our first priority.
This message is a reminder that January 7, 2022 is a two hour early release for students to allow for staff professional learning. Families please be sure to have a parent or documented guardian at the bus stop for all students in third grade and under. Have a great evening!

Good Morning,
In partnership with the WVDE and Maverick Health, BCS is excited to be offering free Covid testing at Braxton County High School on 12/30/21 from 7:30am-1:30pm. The clinic will be a drive-thru clinic. Students and staff are priority for testing, but family members and community members are also able to test free.
The test is a saliva sample PCR test with an estimated 24-hour turnaround time. Hopefully, the testing will allow an opportunity to identify cases prior to return on 1/3/22.
