⌚📱 Students may not have electronic devices in their possession during testing. Cell phones should stay in book bags inside lockers or be left at home. Smartwatches should be placed in lockers before class; otherwise, teachers will collect them and return upon the completion of testing.

Braxton County Schools back to school registration packets are available online. Please use the QR code or click the link on the Braxton County Schools webpage to register. Please contact the school if you are unable to complete the form online and you need a paper version.
Braxton County Middle School Open House will be held on Monday, August 17th from 4 to 6 pm. Stop by to meet your teachers, tour the school, and reconnect with friends. Food will be provided.
Football practice begins August 10th from 4 to 6 pm at BCMS.
Soccer tryouts will be held August 10th, 11th and 12th from 4 to 6 pm at the Braxton County Rec soccer fields.
Volleyball tryouts will be held August 10th and 11th from 4 to 6 pm in the BCMS gym.
Please note that the evening activity buses will be resuming their routes beginning on August 3rd. Thank you and have a wonderful evening.
To all Braxon County Middle School parents and students, please stop by the school this week to pick up items left at school including report cards, 8th grade shields, letters and books, lost clothing and lunch boxes, and track awards. These items will be in the office for pick up this week only.
This message is for any upcoming 6th , 7th or 8th grade students who are interested in playing football for Braxton County Middle School. Middle School football sign-ups will be held in the Braxton County Middle School cafeteria this Friday, May 15th, at 6:30 p.m. Parents and legal guardians are asked to come and take care of paperwork for the upcoming season. Any questions that parents and legal guardians may have can be answered by Head Coach James King at this meeting.

If your student was unable to attend the April 21st Board of Education meeting to receive their academic fair's certificate, you are invited to attend the Tuesday, May 5th BOE meeting for recognition. The meeting will be held in the Braxton County High School gymnasium beginning at 6 PM. After the May 5th meeting, leftover certificates will be delivered to students at their schools.
